Terms of service

DRAFT — pending legal review. This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we", "us") for the Scoretissimo app. By creating an account you accept them and our privacy policy.
1. Who can use Scoretissimo
You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE] years old, and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
2. Your content
Your imported scores, annotations and voice notes are yours; we do not claim ownership. You give us the limited permission needed to store, sync and display them to you and to the collaborators you choose, and to run the service. You confirm that you have the right to import and share the music you add, including any copyright in it.
3. Sharing and collaborators
When you invite someone to a piece, they can see that piece and its annotations and voice notes, and add their own. You can stop sharing at any time. Content a collaborator adds to your piece stays visible on it until it is removed.
The free plan has limits: currently up to 20 pieces in your library, up to 3 shared pieces, and 1 collaborator per piece. Scoretissimo Pro raises or lifts these limits. We may change the limits and the price of Pro; changes do not affect a subscription period you have already paid for.
4. Subscriptions
- Scoretissimo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, bought through your App Store account. Payment is charged to that account when you confirm the purchase.
- The title, length and price of each subscription are shown on the paywall in the app before you buy.
- It renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Only if a free trial is offered: any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- You manage and cancel it in your App Store account settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your Scoretissimo account does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules, not by us.
- If a subscription ends, you keep your content, but the free plan's limits apply again.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright;
- harass, threaten or send unwanted invitations or messages to other people;
- upload malware, or try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
- disrupt the service, or reverse engineer or resell it, except as the law allows.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
6. Reporting content and users
You can report content or a user, and block a user, from within the app, or write to support@scoretissimo.com. We review reports and may act on them as set out in section 5.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account in Settings at any time; the privacy policy describes what is deleted. We may end the service or an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
8. Liability
Scoretissimo is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for loss of content, so keep your own copies of scores you care about. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; if the change is material we will update the date above and the version of these documents that the app records. Please check this page for the current version. These terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW]. Contact: support@scoretissimo.com.
